Stunning glass from the incredible Aldo Sohm (let’s open large format) wine bar NY. Sleek, ++ acidity and great finish. What a treat.

Riper citrus moving into stone fruit, sweet herbs, very mineral. I think vine age and neutral oak help bring out the textural richness here. Almost more inline with Bordeaux blanc in terms if style but still grounded in Sancerre wth the firm acid and mineral backbone.

Jun 25th, 2017An incredible joy to taste this wine over 3 weeks (via Coravin). It got better each time going deeper and more expressive. Pure rock, citrus, and terroir beauty at it finest. Best SB for me ever. #lightsout
