Chiroubles Gamay

Currant, cassis, and dark cherry on the nose, thread through to the palate. A little bit of mocha and vanilla finish out the mouth. Heavy tannin profile suggests aging another 6-8 years.

Good purple & black berry fruit on the nose even edging cassis, has a lovely blueberry lift to it, has a fresh violet floral note. Palate has underripe cherry fruit and is quite dilute, tannins are bitter and has a sappy finish

Little raspberry and slightly boozy on the nose. Heavier than some beajolais. Easy drinking but not mind blowing

Extremely quaffable. Great everyday wine!

Smooth and flavoursome. Flavours beginning to mature in the 2012. Quite a light bodied wine.

A bit sour

Easy drinking gamay. Very straightforward but also very delicious.

Youthful & fresh with red acidic fruits on the nose, some spice/clove. Light bodied with raspberry/cherry flavours (kirsch) short tasting. Pleasant but not complex.
