Georges Dubœuf
Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau Gamay
Smells like fruit punch. Lighter than I expected on the palate.

Nov 19th, 2017What a pretty bottle; designed with colour and glitz combined; makes sure you get the message it is wine to drink informally; festive; don't discuss the taste; but if you do it is a cracker for flavour- colour depth- gamay sweetness-easy swallow; ripe and very warm year for Beaujolais shows; #beaujolais #beaujolaisnouveau #beaujolaisnouveau2015 #georgesduboeuf #gamay ; was grapes 10 weeks ago; plump to drink now; 13.5%.

The palate shows plums and dark berries with a hefty dose of those fabulous minerals. Acidity is fresh but not overpowering, while the tannins are firm enough to handle a pork chop, if you like. The finish stays awhile and is somewhat flinty.
