An unusual Riesling from Piedmont which I believe Aldo planted in the mid-80's; a first in the region. Popped and poured. Golden colored in the glass. Petrol, melons, flowers and citrus. This sort of comes across as an off-dry example. Absolutely lovely and paired perfectly with our spicy Thai take out.

Petro, faint white flowers, tangerine, oily texture and stony characters coming through on the palate. Elevated acidity and almost full body (14% abv).

A pretty, focused Riesling that has an attractive mineral quality. Refreshing and a wine I'd welcome on a warm day. I'm a fan of Vajra and it's fun to try something a little different by them.

Just thoroughly enjoying this.
Straw yellow in color, with a touch of green hints.
Grapefruit, peach, earthy- creaminess, citrus notes to it. That jumps from the glass. Secondary notes of flowers & modest amount of minerals. The 2015 is special. I’ll have to pick up a 14 .

On a cold snowy day north of the Arctic circle this is a good start. Fresh crisp fruits with a creamy body that disappears into crispness in the end.
