Jul 30th, 2019I love this wine. I cannot stop myself from pouring another glass. I grudgingly share a taste with my husband because what I really want is to enjoy the entire bottle sola. This wine has everything I want right now: a cheery holiday warmth; a subtle background of spice; and a perfect balance between acid, fruit, and tannin. Why yes, please. I would like another!

Mid bodied Langhe Nebbiolo that feels well made. Its savory and floral elements are particularly attractive. This is one of the great Nebbiolo value wines, in my opinion. Can't do much better for under $25.

Great drinkable Nebbiolo from a brilliant winemaker. Red fruit, dried violets, blueberry, cassis, and forest floor combine into an elegant wine. Not as concentrated as Vajra’s Barolo but more drinkable early. 2016 vintage on Nov 12, 2018

This fairly pale ruby, tart red fruit little number struts some raspberry and cherry charm. Next it unfolds with fresh earth, tobacco and a bit of smoky cardamom spice. Fine-grained yet lightly tactile tannins, medium acidity, and barely medium body. After 10 mins, fresh rose and geranium. Well balanced, drinkable, good quality with a tart fruit, drying tannic finish.
