90% Pinoit Noir d'Ay, 10% Chardonnay d'Ay
Vintage bubbles showing the electric nature of the 2008 vintage. A red-gold color is unique to this wine. Spicy licorice and star anise, with floral, subtle red berry. Dry and mercy with excellent acids. This is a wine drinkers Champagne without a doubt, especially if you like
#Burgundy.

A distinctive pale salmon color with plenty of tiny bubbles. This smells delicious with a plethora of soft white fruits initially and a touch of aged cheese. Grapefruits and clementines say hello along with some very nice floral aromas.

About as classic as it gets but with resounding power. From the Grand Cru village of Aÿ, it’s sleek and substantial. Smooth with excellent balance and structure. Pinot Noir dominant with plenty of cherries and honey on the tongue. A lingering citrus note on the finish. Very solid.

Mostly Pinot noir, this champagne was a beautiful light amber. Out of the bottle this was aromatically intense but tight, with fine and explosive (!) bubbles. Strawberries, cinnamon, lemon, crunchy red currants and pastries are tightly knit, and I was left with plenty of phenolic texture. An hour later the bubbles had subdued and this opened up to some softer fruit, but this wine will express more aroma and complexity probably 10 years out.
