A massive wine made by a petite winemaker. I think I opened it too soon, the tannins are still really big. True varietal character, the fruit is ripe, rich and black showing cassis, black cherry and blackberry. And there are savory and dried herb notes with cigar box nuances. This is a dry wine with mouthwatering, juicy acidity, layers of texture, and a persistent finish.

Tannic backbone (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Layers of black currants, bramble berries, spices, and a hint of eucalyptus or mint in the finish. Dark minerality in the long dry finish. Very young and will definitely improve with time. Drink from 2019 till 2028. (92+)
