Lovely supple fruit. Open and tangy dark fruit. Blackcurrant and a deep saline note. Delicious and in really good shape.

Just absurd. A finish that lasted for minutes.

Beautiful. Hints of molasses, mocha, black tea, currant and a touch of honey as time went on. Giddy up!

1989 vintage. Sperss. With Angelo Gaja. Medium garnet. Starting to brown on the edges. Great nose - liquorice and aniseed, tar, black fruit profile. Cedar wood. With air, walnut. On the palate, first impression is glorious - packs a punch, but silky / velvety texture, full concentration, very ripe prominent tannins. Long lingering finish - slight drying but not to its detriment. Mushroom and truffle more noticeable on palate than nose. Superb. Drink now until 2035

1998 vintage in magnum. Really good. Archetypal nose of roses and tar. Good length.
