Disgorged 2019. I suspect it's based on the 2014 vintage. Simple and faultless. Very fruit driven with light autolytic notes. Fresh and quite nice with Canto food. Could use with a little bit more flesh and cut.

Blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, pale lemon gold color with aromas of citrus, floral and biscuit notes, fine bubbles and light mousse. On the palate flavors of crisp apples, pear, peach and lemon notes, savory mineral and honey. Long ending with fruit and slight toasty biscuit character.

I haven't had the opportunity to try a lot of fine champagnes in my day, but this Mumm Cordon Bleu in Reims (Champagne region of France) was fantastique. Knowing how expensive it is, I'm happy to have just seen how it's made and have a little taste ! Not too sweet, just enough bubbles. Yum
