Sonoma Reserve Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Ruby with aromas of red/black fruits and spice, aged 10 months in French, Hungarian and American oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of vanilla and smoke. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with cedar and fruit.

Plums and licorice. Marzipan and dried fruits. Nice legs. Intriguing.

Good, rounded body with fruit up front. Tends to get a little dry on the back end after a while.

Pale ruby color.
Aromas of black fruit, cherry, plum, blackberry
Dry. Flavors of fresh, ripe black fruit, blackberry, floral, oak spice. Moderate, silky tannins. Good acidity.

Bottle from Neil and Valerie. Drank at home. Nice balance, a little edge

Solid Pinot. Pairs well with cookie dough (if you’re into that).

One of my favorite California chards and maybe Chards of all time - sweet, understated citrus and vanilla notes so perfectly in balance. For my money, one of the best wines of this label.
