Deep purple color with aromas of sour cherry and floral notes. On the palate flavors of sour cherry and strawberry with slight floral spice. Fine soft tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Easy drinking but a bit too simple, it’s more of a mid-week red, but a bit pricey!

2014 vintage. Seductive, radiant, transparent ruby color. Restrained and elegant, but certainly ripe enough. Could use a few years. My first 2014 Burgundy, and, if this is the style of the vintage, I'll want more.

Pop and pour. Austere at opening. Better with a couple of hours of air and lots of swirling. On the nose: baking spice, black cherry, soft rose and some soft green stemmy notes. On the palate: excellent acidity, soft mouthfeel, black cherry, a touch of woody bitterness and soft very finely grained tannin on the finish. Hasn't evolved much over the last 3 years...but not sure it has the fruit/acid/tannin balance to improve in a good direction.

Very light, red fruits, vegetal, will definitely age well. Classic burg barnyard nose.
