Another Beaujolais win from SommSelect. This one has big ripe red-berry flavors, and at first it's almost too fruity, but the acidity and mineral kick in to make this a winner. Well-crafted, looking for more from this producer.

Odd notes on the nose: whiskey, cognac. Doesn’t drink hot at all, though. Opens with big fruit, blackberries and cherry. Moves on to a strong acidity that balances nicely, though.

Great! Opened up after and hour or two. Soft dark berry flavors, tempered with slight sanguine notes. Good acidity and generally fun to drink!
