Sep 27th, 2015Really ripe Nebbiolo, walks a fine line of ripeness with some VA in the aromatics. All about the fruit here with perfume like red fruit and less of the tar and rose petal. Plenty of life here, should go another 10 easy and get better.

Warning: highly expressive wine! On the nose: violet and anise. The palate is so balanced - tannin and acid balanced with fruit and herbal notes. As it opened up, cocoa on the palate. Really lovely wine to sip and enjoy over a few hours.
