2021 vintage. Excellent. Right in the zone I like for Barbera or Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is for Fall in my mind, and this is a good one. A little tight on opening, but feels clean and classic with a softly tannic mouthfeel. With dumplings, not pasta.

Little bite and acidity to start. Some dryness into smooth finish. Raspberries and sweet fruitiness with light tart. Pleasantly surprised!

Day 2: fresh black cherry, plum, dried herbs, and limestone. Darker fruit and tar carry through. Viscous, round and edgy. Feels young, but over delivers for the category. Drink now or in the next couple years.

Wild raspberry, floral. Great balance between tannin & acidity. Will be looking for more of this grape.

Dry, medium bodied, dried cherry notes, easy to drink, great everyday wine.
