17/20 (92/100) Ещё молодой, но не вполне юный аромат с нотами спелых ягоды вишни и ежевики с намеком на бальзамик и сухую древесину. Довольно тельное с высокой кислотностью и интенсивными, чуть шероховатыми танинами. Мощная структура. Молодо, нужно дать полежать ещё как минимум три года.

Couldn’t be more classic. Fair warning though: Even after 17 years, could use more time. 6 hour decant and still a bit hot and tannic. Great with a rich lamb ragu though

Went down easy with a platter of Peking Duck and complemented the heaps of of water chestnuts and babycorn like you wouldn’t believe (e.g. “You so fine babycorn,” etc.)

Textbook traditional Barolo. Really tight mouthfeel. Orange peel, dried roses, mint, umami, earth/iron. Ethereal, pure, pristine! Bravo!
