This little Langhe over performs for its price and went very well with Cinnamon's butter roasted vegetable pasta. It has all the tar and roses, but none of the oak or heat that more ambitious bottlings often have. It doesn't have the complexity or texture that an older bottle from a better appellation would have, but it was so drinkable that it disappeared quickly!

It always amazes me how much better wines show after selling out for good. This has blossomed into a tarry, dark fruited and virile Barolo stand in after six months settling in the cellar. I am glad I still have most of my case!

Youthful and elegant, with streaks of acid and sour cherries. Opened young, but shows promise. Red dust, leather, and wild raspberries also shine. Quite aromatic, and only gets better with time.

Light ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry, dried fruit, leather, and tar. Medium-plus body, with full tannins and medium-plus acidity. Delightful bouquet, but somewhat short finish.
