The nose shows; poached strawberries, cooked cherries, some blackberries, just a hint of bubble gum, some sandy, wet, black earth, red & pink roses.

The palate is ripe and juicy & light bodied. Black cherries, strawberries raspberries, pomegranate, some blackberries & black raspberries, hints of blood orange, loamy sandy, limestone, dark spice with a touch heat, hints of licorice & cola, very fine, dry, soft tannins, red and pink roses, red flowers, beautiful acidity and a pleasant, elegant, easy finish that lasts a full minute.

Nice! Decant and enjoy. Lighter color, red fruits and smooth finish. A great food wine. SS

Sour cherries, on the richer side, with almonds and violets. Balanced acidity and tannins... perfectly quaffable now. Zero flaws... hard to imagine a better Langhe Nebbiolo. A surprising 14.5% ABV... perhaps the acid and fruit hide it well. Delicious. SommSelect.

Feminine. Reminds me of my girlfriend. Like a cherry tree got in a fight with a rose bush. Fratelli Allessandria never ceases to impress.

Dizzying aroma of lavender, mint, fresh rose petals and earthy clay. Immediately on the palate a rush of fresh, vibrant raspberry. The mid palate opens to herbal softness stricken with a laser-sharp acidity that balances beautifully. A lingering and pleasant tannic structure leaves you begging for another sip.

Simple but delightful nose of tart red cherry, dried cranberry and raspberry. Rose petals. clay. High tannin. High acid. Moderate plus alcohol, but balanced. Good weekday wine
