2nd time I've had this. Every wine gets a higher score at Christmas. This is a stern Barolo, uptight after 4 hours of air. Yummy, though, and pleasant to sip slowly next to the fireplace. Cherry cola, raspberries, roses, serious leathery tannins. It's a 6 year old Barolo, and that's what it tastes like.

Delicious Barolo, had the 2012 and it got better once we let it breathe for about 20 minutes.

Wonderful old world style with great earth notes. Medium fruit. Slight barnyard, which I like. However it lacks mid palate structure and therefore is ny a great Barolo
