Look for these 2 words on a Champagne Label-Récoltant Manipulant, Grower makes & markets Champagne under their own label, from grapes exclusively sourced from their own vineyards and processed on premises. Fruit/floral bouquet, w/chalky minerals. Fine bubbles, nice mousse, showing quality. Outstanding rich flavors of peach, lemon and honey, well balanced, good structure, creamy. Finish with toasty oak & mineral notes that lingered. Very consistent quality.

Yellow gold color with an active tiny bead, and delightful fresh baked baguette, green apple, pear, and white flower aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, creamy, pure and well structured with white peach, pear, soft lemon flavors and a chalky minerality. Long finish. Offers great value, at $35 - Especially for a wine that is composed of entirely estate grown, grand cru Chardonnay including 50% reserve wines from 2010 and 2009. This wine is based on the 2011 harvest, which was a difficult one for Bonville. His entire 2011 high end production was declassified into this wine; As a result no Belles Voyes, Vintage or Prestige was produced. Instead all of his top class, mid-slope, old vine production into this bottling and as a base for the rosé.
