Gavi Cortese

Grapefruit, lemon and light white floral aromas in a steely high acid brew.

Not a fan of Cortese, but these old vines (about 40 years old) does provide some attention. Unusually aromatic on the nose, providing tension on the palate.

Gavi, the hope eternal.

2011. Nougat, peach skin, limestone and lemon meringue.

Lightly oaked with a lot of acidity. Bracing

Very clear in color, lemon rind, grapefruit, mineral-driven. Great Gavi. With smoked paprika white beans, kale and toast.
