Nice. Decant and enjoyed over two days. Blackberry pie and blackberry leaf. Smooth with enough tannins to carry it to the finish. TBL

Bright scarlet, thin/translucent. Fun nose, with a fruit bias. Notes of ripe red cherries, smoked meat, dark soil, some kirsch and some tart cranberries. Light and some pucker in the mouth. A decent bottle from the Bicyclette list.

Today the 2015 Barolo Cannubi is an elegant, classy wine. The Cannubi also seems to have handled the heat of the summer more gracefully than the Brunate. Silky and sensual, the 2015 is very attractive today. The aromatics are perhaps just a touch forward, but the 2015 makes up for that with its suave, inviting personality. Crushed flowers, mint, licorice and sweet berry fruit add to the wine's charm. I wouldn't push my luck on aging too much, but the 2015 is undeniably appealing. 2013. Well balanced and good now but needs time. In the decanter for an hour before drinking. Beautiful rose lift with grip and fruit opening well.

Big fan of Paola’s Cannubi, and ‘14 confirms my believes in her ability to craft classic, elegant and age worthy stuff. While less concentrated than most recent vintages, I love its vibrant finish.

A great surprise, actually drinkable and very tasty too, just love it. Vintage 2013, my first yummy.

Offering everything one can desire from this vintage; tight tannins yet accessible thanks to great fruit and salivating acidity. Will age gracefully. One to buy by the case.
