Black cherries, herbal, and spice aromas. Has the elegance of a good Sta Rita Pinot with a medium body and rich tannins. Will wait another year before the next.

Really a 9.3 but I’m curious to see how it improves - might develop into something even more special. As it is, this was a great wine; one part smoky venison, two parts stewed strawberries. Lots of fruit for an austere vintage.
