There's a freshness to the nose that reminds me of still-fermenting barrels of Cabernet. In the glass this orange wine is more straight forward than it's more funky brethren, but still delights with a well-structured body and juicy acidity.

From Rorick vineyard in Calaveras County (Sierra Foothills). Deep onion skin color. Grapefruit, peaches and flowers. Well-structured, with the subtle bitterness of really ripe grapefruit and a slightly spicy finish.2014 vintage. Abv. 12,58 %.
