This ramato from forlorn hope is 💯 !! Kind of a baby orange wine - definite tannic structure but also fresh & juicy & crushable. Blood orange & bitters!

There's a freshness to the nose that reminds me of still-fermenting barrels of Cabernet. In the glass this orange wine is more straight forward than it's more funky brethren, but still delights with a well-structured body and juicy acidity.

Soft red fruit, peaches, bright acidity, round, and so so lovely. More flavorful than aromatic

From Rorick vineyard in Calaveras County (Sierra Foothills). Deep onion skin color. Grapefruit, peaches and flowers. Well-structured, with the subtle bitterness of really ripe grapefruit and a slightly spicy finish.2014 vintage. Abv. 12,58 %.

One of the most fascinating, mind-bending, brilliant wines I've had this year. I can't stop thinking about it.

Nice version. Bit darker in color but still light bodied. Citrus and peel.

This has evolved very well. Reminds me now of some of the earlier vintages made from Kirschenmann grapes.
