Always taut with laser acid, explosive citrus, and way underripe peach. Saline Salnes. Albariño has never been a favorite white for me. Blind tasters moved away from Sauvignon Blanc due to lack of green character. Most settled on Albariño with Alsatian Riesling getting a vote.

Another case of “oxi-but-mineral”. Frankly, I abhor such a conundrum. It’s absolutely torturing - gives you a glimpse of the wine’s potential, then it’s snatched away by poor storage/shipping. Sigh.

Hands down one of my favourite Albariño producers! Classic style done very well, drunk with fried calamari, strong pairing.

From sandy soils in coastal Salnes this is salty and mineral Albariño. Citrus and underripe peach are in there but this wine leads with nice weight and high acidity with no malo.
This screams for seafood.

Intense, bright and saline with strong mineral backbone. Classic peach, Meyer lemon and honeysuckle.

Super high acidity and salinity. Citrus and white flowers. Best with food. Great intensity.
