Forge Cellars
Railroad Seneca Lake Dry Riesling
Features citrus fruit. Very interesting structurally, has body and a creamy texture. The acid comes on as the wine wraps itself around the tongue, finishing strong.

1 person found it helpfulOct 3rd, 2021Beautifully light golden color enticing you to go further...nose is actually somewhat floral with white Petaled flowers and honey. Finally, it dances on the palate with a medium body, full of apricots, grapefruit, honey, and followed by hints of other stone fruits with good dose of mineralogy acid to wake up the mouth and the salivary glands. Slightly tart finish, but in a good way. A super enjoyable, balanced wine!

Jan 25th, 2024Light gold color. Aromas of lemon, wet stones and white flowers. Pallet features lemons pith, golden delicious apple and apricot. Extremely mineral driven finish. There is a lack of acidity and the wine is a bit flabby. Good wine but I was expecting more.

Apr 13th, 2022Get to know Riesling Class: dry style. Very golden yellow, a floral nose with camomile tea aromas, light on the palate with lots of acid, juicy grapefruit and apricot, lingering minerals. #gotm2020
