My first taste of Folkway, lovely Bordeaux blend using no new oak. Very approachable straight out of the bottle, definitely new world style, but paired extremely well with strip steak and baked potato. Fruit, acid and tannin all in balance.

Oct 26th, 2018Not very integrated. Flabby and disjointed. Packs a big black cherry punch then drifts off.... has black pepper and some meaty 🍅, smoke and the hint of green olives in the finish. Maybe with more time it would show better.

Aug 25th, 2018Blackberry with a tinge of dark chocolate in the nose. Black plum, spice and leather. Bordeaux style. Extremely easy to drink bottle from a family owned California vintner.
