Tasted another bottle recently. Founded by Bill Foley to realize a dream to produce world class wines in Santa Barbara County, and in 1998, he purchased 460-acre property, planting 230 acres of vineyards. Dark in color with aromas of sweet ripe berry fruits with a touch of oak. On the palate cherry and cranberry flavors with tobacco, oak and earthy notes. Soft tannins, good balance on lingering finish ending with notes of earth and pepper spice. Nice. Tasting Sample.

May 4th, 2019Wine Foley! Very approachable (unlike my landlord's debt-collector, T-Crush)
I knocked a glass worth of this Pinot into the trusty ol' aerator, and bam! Bob's your uncle: smoky blackberry and oaked black cherry scented rose-plum hybrid notes, with whispers of T-Crush clinging to your palate for a prolonged finish.
