Earthy like a Pinot, smoky like a Syrah. Raspberry and dark cherry flavors with good acidity. This paired nicely with Thanksgiving turkey.

Feb 22nd, 20162011 vintage. Darker than a pinot, lighter than a syrah, which comprises 92% of the juice, this is one of my favorite funky blends. The syrah gives it it's nose of smoky meat/charcuterie, bacon fat and black pepper, while the pinot noir gives it it's lighter body than the nose implies and acidity that leaves you wanting more. This is purely a personal favorite, I fully believe that Perennial is too out there for the normal populace.
