At its peak? Stunningly smooth and seamless leather cherry and earth. Fantastic.

Difficult but I gave it the benefit of the doubt…at opening a total disappointment, after an hour ok’ish, after 3 hours wow and at the end quite close again. I guess time in the cellar will tell? @Dave listening to George Michael

I got the sense this big beautiful #argentine #malbec blend was just beginning to develop after 6 years of bottle age with decades left to mature. Still delicious, layers of blue/purple fruit, dried herb and spice notes.

Sat next to the visiting winemaker/oenology Alejandro Canovas at blind tasting of Malbecs at Bunbury Argentine Restaurant in Miami. Good bouquet, blue fruits, herb and pepper notes.
