10 years of age has been good to this wine. It's got some enjoyable complexity to it. Black cherries, leather, herbs, green olives? Tannins winding down, high acidity. Wine Enthusiast says 93 points, I couldn't quite get there.

Primarily Tempranillo with a bit of Graciano blended in. Dark red/violet color. Aromas of currants, leather, rose petal and sweet baking spices. Red and black berry fruit on the palate with additional flavors of chocolate, vanilla, dried dill and coffee. Really soft tannins and texture. A bit of a bitter, spicy and oaky finish. Reasonable and a good value.

Cool label. Classy. James Suckling gives 93 puntos, must be good. Nice color. Deep ruby color. Smells meaty, juicy and dense. Flavors are similar. Plenty of extracted berry stuff. Deep and complex. Plenty of flavor here 10 years later. Has lots of mouthwatering acids. Enjoyable red. Excellent.
