Jan 22nd, 2019Yum. Some black pepper, and lots of cedar. I'm not a fan of the swamp pine in my beers, but somehow it works here. Some tannins at the finish help it linger, but surprisingly low acidity. I likes it.

Nice intensity to the fruit flavor and even some minerality but the acidity was definitely lacking.

Dusty, earth. Not a lot of oak or smoke to it. Still grips you on the finish with a touch of acid. Better with food, I bet pizza would be pretty awesome pairing.
