A rare and special blend of Garnacha, Tintilla de Rota, and Tempranillo from the incredibly beautiful town of Ronda in Andalucia. This is an earthy, macho, and lusty wine! My friend described it as a bad boy, the kind that makes you want to behave badly. This wine has mineral aromas and flavors of dried mud and straw combined with black cherry and black currant notes that stretch into savory, meaty impressions. Tobacco and vanilla flavors linger long on the palate. With smooth tannins, and medium plus balanced acidity, this is a winner!

Discovering a, for me, new wine region Sierras de malaga and Serrania de ronda This wine from Finca la melonera is made of Garnacha and Syrah. Young but ripe, red fruit and some spice. I like it!

Un gran descobriment, vi complexe amb tons de pebre, fruites vermelles madures i fins i tot noto tocs que em fan pensar en olives madures. Un gran vi, molt equilibrat. Relació qualitat preu molt bona. No us ho perdeu si voleu noves experiències

€16 on the restaurant wine list. This is from a winery in hills of Costa del Sol, town of Ronda. A blend but not sure of the varietals but some Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, & Tintilla de Rota, which are grapes of the local area. I suspect the grapes may change with the vintage. Enjoyed! We need to visit this wine region of Spain.

Bright purple with lilac tones throughout and a thin rim. Interesting nose featuring Spanish spices, cherries, blackberries, and earth. I had no clue what to expect from this bottle from the Ronda region of Spain, but I can sum it up as an absolute crowd pleaser with actual complexity. Medium body with nice, round tannins and a bone dry mouthfeel. Amazingly dry. More red and black fruits on the palate with new leather, dusty earth, and some outstanding funk going on. This is probably one of the most fun wines I’ve had in a while.

Rondo is a village in Andalusia where the old vine grapes grow at 600 - 900 m.. cab 30% garnacha 25% Tempranillo 25% Syrah 10% merlot 10% and produce rich intense deep berry and tannic flavors revealing the terroir of this beautiful region. I had it with a spicy bean casserole and sautéed greens with feta. Lovely! Could be a bit strong for some but the acid is not overwhelming...

30% cab 25 garnacha 25 Tempranillo 10 Syrah 10 Merlot Ronda Andalusian blend is just beautiful! 600-900 m in Alta really forces the great struggle & development of rich levels of flavor throughout the sip.
