Lujan de Cuyo Malbec

Bright and young, a lovely wine but perhaps a bit early in its life to fully enjoy. Had the bottle with dinner out at Ox here in Portland, opened up some nice fruit notes, a bit of pepper on the nose and fair tannins, think this would have been better with a decant or more ti@e aging in bottle

2013 is the current vintage release right now in 2021. Feminine (for malbec). Balanced, old world in style and favoring earth notes over fruit. Exceptional and a real departure from everyday Argentine Malbec.

100 YO Vines. Earthy and packed with red and blue fruit flavors. 500 6 Packs made.

Cigar, tobacco, spice, menthol. Dense & chewy with lots of structure.

Could have easily fooled me into thinking this was Bordeaux. Impressive.

It is genuine and not what u may expect at all in a Malbec. But its a good sign.

Opened up very nicely. Started our wild, smoke, blackberries, sage. Softened up showing vanilla, leather, cedar, and a bit more cherry / red fruit.

Deep purple color. Med tannins. A mix of red and dark fruits. Med alcohol. Smooth.

Earthy, tannin filled Malbec that hits the right notes.
