Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, floral and sweet spices. On the palate, this medium+ body wine shows flavors of blackberry and cherry with licorice and cinnamon spice. Tannins are savory and youthful ending with some earthy mineral notes. Good value! Consistent quality, just tasted the ‘15.

If ruby’s had a fragrance, it would come in this bottle.
Like bursting pomegranate seeds, the air of a cellar that ages sharp, sweet cheeses, blueberry perfume.
High acidity with not enough other redeeming qualities to make it interesting and pleasant. Quite astringent and tannic, but also the fruit lingers.
It’s okay — the blueberry kick is nice, though. Enjoyed the bouquet.

Having a bottle at Restorante Pizzeria L’Abate in Sorrento Italy. Nice local wine 2016 vintage. Reasonably priced at 30 euros.
