Aromas of overripe bananas which carry on to the pallate which also includes hints of pineapple. However the wine is lacking freshness or brightness, and finishes with a tinge of ethanol. Best drunk when ice cold to mask some of the obvious faults. ($4) [1/9/18] #weekdaywine

This Chardonnay is lacking in freshness and comes through rather dull and faded. Aroma and pallate of overripened tropical fruit with a slight oak influence and a bit too much ethanol on the finish. Paired as the cooking wine with tonight's pasta dish: "Paccheri all'Amatriciana". ($4) [11/20/17]

Sipping Fine Wine

Simple wine with sweet stone fruit aromas carries to palate with ripe apple and pineapple flavors. Nothing harsh about this wine which should please a crowd at a party or BBQ. Not complex, drink now. Good value.

Boring sweetish wine with a bitter aftertaste. Avoid. 2015 vintage.
