A completely foreign, Northern Italian varietal, Erbaluce. I think because varietal is so foreign the bottle gets discounted 50% by its importer. Has a lovely floral lift, a slightly grainy, Chardonnay esque attack, more medium weight. Rosenthal importer. For 9$ my steal of the year. Really.

Love Ferrando but this isn’t my favorite Erbaluce. There’s definitely skin contact, which manifests as tannin in the wine. Golden/copper-tinged. A bit short.

A bright yellow wine with a bright, clean acidity. A bit of a parmesan whiff to it, or maybe I just smell like parmesan, which wouldn’t be the worst life outcome.
