Honeyed, riper golden/copper expression of Erbaluce. Likely representative of this Alto Piemonte DOC, but the bottle age had a big influence on this wine. We've had a neighboring young Erbaluce from Boca (Barbaglia) that was a completely different animal. Still, the acid is there in this 2012, and it balances the tropical notes beautifully.

Loving this little Piedmontese gem. A new grape for me...Erbaluce. Apple, minerals, herbs and flowers, and just a touch of petrol. Really conveys a sense of place!

An excellent vintage for Ferrando's Erbaluce. Petrol, silken, and full wet hay and stewed thyme with typical northern Piemontese acid to balance. Really lovely.
