On the palate, deep dark cherry, tobacco, leather, smoked wood, stewed fig. Just unreal, very cool wine. Medium low tannin, but super super long and stays for days.

Salted plum, tobacco and black tea. Leather and crushed gravel. Savory dried herbs, bruised cherry, elegant and light on the palate. Superb warming quality on this brisk Fall evening. Great old world style for less than 40$.

A wonderfully nuanced, graceful wine that is medium to light bodied but has a terrific intensity and long finish. The wine paired beautifully with the full gamut of pastas from this perennially hip Japanese-Italian, Chelsea establishment.
