Wow! So much in the glass here. Bright and vibrant. But if depth n complexity to the red fruit with fine spice. Rosso at its best. 92, but more enjoyable than that.

Nice little Montalcino - drank with spaghetti and meatballs, great fruit forward wine at a reasonable cost. Little breathing time helped open it up.

Verrrrry young. Acid erupting in every corner of my mouth. Dry as hell too. I like it, but maybe the $30 jump to a Brunello would be worth it in this case.

Plenty of depth here. Rich and vibrant with a dark plum colour in the glass and black fruit on the nose. A lot of length in the palate with blackberry, a subtle smokiness and vanilla oak. Paired with a grilled pork chop at Royale in Calgary. Delicious.
