2012 vintage. A real lip-smacker. Solid black cherry and dark plum. Soft acidity and supple tannins make this a delight to drink over the next year or so. I love wines like this that over deliver on price.

fantini 🇮🇹 wines tasting hosted by the israeli importer.

6th is a montepuliciano from abruzzo.

12 months oak and 12 months in bottle before release.

mostly red fruit, pepper and other spices.
rough, mostly because of firm tannins, that get in the way.
24 hours later they relaxed but still didn't bond well.
