I have had this before, and it was nowhere near as good as it is now.

It’s the full package: on the nose, the palate, the finish... all on point.

The bottle is also a beast: heavy, thick, and the deepest hole you can find. Yeah, I’m talking about wine.

It wants to be so much better than it actually is. The bottle is heavy and beautiful, it bears a sticker that says 99 points and wears it like a badge of honour... but it's just a glorified primitivo. Like what you would imagine a primitivo to taste like if you could reduce two bottles into one and make it way more intense. It's an intensive primitivo. Basically.

Probably one of the darkest and ripest Italian wines I have ever drunk. Dark Ruby. Nose of plum jam and ripe cherries. A full bodied crowd pleaser for western palates and for those who love big wines. I dare say wines like this would not have been made in Italy 20 years ago. Large %s of Primitivo and Montepuliciano. Short term keeper with low acid and medium + tannin structure.

Hedonistic and rich. Amazing body, beautiful balance, spices, dark fruits, and soft tannins. So sexy.

The 21 edition, 2019. Powerful and smooth, like a Napa origin with a finesse.
selection of Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Primitivo, Negroamaro, and MalvasiaNera.

Deep garnet red. Very intense and persistent, with notes of cherry and blackcurrant, herbs, cinnamon, and hints of mineral. Good balance between alcohol and freshness, velvety tannins, and very persistence with a long finish(winemaker notes, I agree with the
