Well rounded Cab, on the lighter side. Makes for easy drinking and pairs well with dinner.

Crowd pleaser.
Finally at a resto in Cabos with a deep wine list. This was what we could afford. Mx is nosebleed central!

From the Far Niente winery. Got a taste of their new ‘18 offering. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits with spice and sweet oaky notes. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry and plum with licorice, vanilla and toasty cacao. Tannins are fine, a bit tight, long finish ending with fruit and toasty earthy spice. Give this some time, I tucked a few bottles in the cellar, will report back.

Wow, this is interesting coming from the illustrious Far Niente. Nice round, chewy, cab. Approachble, 40 bucks. Quite the sweet spot. I will rebuy and put it through my full process. Alc comes across a bit hot. But otherwise, very good.

On the palate flavors of raspberry, blackberry and red plum with licorice, vanilla, leather and espresso. Tannins are fine, a bit tight, long finish ending with fruit, toasty cedar and earthy spice. Enjoyable now but a few years will reward. Pair this with a fillet mignon with a Cabernet sauce.

Dark red fruit aromas. Medium bodied.
Blackberry, plum flavors. Some earth, spice, and tobacco notes. Light oak, not too tannic. Good overall. Pricey.
