Paso Robles Syrah

Nerding out on the back label was great fun. I wish all bottles shared this data. The wine was a tad extracted and syrupy... but it settled down.

Dense dark fruit with moderate heavy oak and tannins. Funky Paso chalkyness that makes you think but is not 100% appealing either.

We have been impressed with all the wines from Falcone Family Vineyards. This Syrah is deep purple with smoky floral blueberry aromas. The wine is nicely balanced between sweetness and acidity. Medium tannins help to extend the finish.

Very nice Syrah. Fruit forward, but subtle and smooth.

Cranberry on the nose and palate .. . Spice pronounced for initial 45 minutes open.. Then softens...Fruit forward with a blast of dry cherry. wow! Enjoyed with braised quail with cherry reduction, roasted brussels sprouts and cranberries... And Whipped sweet potatoes Perfect! In 5 years it will be even better.

Adequate.

Well balanced with fruit , oak and tannin. Made by great people.

Delicious with soft tannins with juicy fruit.

v21. Very good! Soft, clean, cedar nose. Rich, black cherry and blackberry fruit. Bright, full, sharp black pepper and candied fruit finish.
