Medium Ruby color and a lovely varietally correct nose. Loads of wild strawberry, red cherry, red currant, black cherry, violet and forest floor. There is already some secondary oak and tertiary character of leather, dried orange peel and dried raspberry. Terrific balance between the fruit and savory characters with great acidity giving the wine a clean, crisp edge that is excellent for food pairing. Lovely, restrained wine. 13%abv.

North-South plantings with less pruning against late-day sun (thinned on the South side). 30% whole cluster grapes. Spice, mushroom, pepper - added structure, tannin and savoriness compared to the Estate Pinot Noir.

We had the 2016 Vintage on 12/22-23/23. Not bad, but not great. Blackberry, blueberry and a peppery finish. I have had better from Evening Land

We had the 2015 Vintage on 2/18-19/23. A wonderful Oregonian PN. A fruit forward, New World, well balanced Pinot Noir. Velvety mouth feel. Black cherry, elderberry and raspberry. Other comments mentioned minerals and earthiness; I do not detect such in this wine. Nevertheless, this is very good

Came across as watery and kind of bland. Opened herbal but faded quickly. Flavors of pomegranate and black cherry on the front but not much aftertaste.
