Going out early tomorrow morning to see the transition of the birdlife at one of our treasured, local reserves, so I'm hoping this will bring some luck for good sightings. Last bottle 😕
Color is like salmon-copper, amazing.
Nose has dried orange peel, fresh cranberry and raspberry juice.
Palate is showing light oxidation, but I think that's appealing, alongside strawberry-cranberry and light Silex notes. One of our favorite bottles, trendy before the hipsters picked up the "Put a Bird on It!" meme, I do miss Portlandia.

Color is like liquid copper, amazing. Took about an hour to open, then nearly as good as upon release, nice acid, Loire Cab Franc, tart strawberry on the palate. One more bottle and we're clean out, loved this wine, only found it once. One of our favorite bottles, with a bird on it!

I love cab franc, so a rose - and one with incredibly light color, bordering on a white - made for a novelty purchase. I love this wine, though! Really has that off-sweet, earthy flavor of a cab franc, but the freshness of a white. Oddly has a tannic mouth feel on the finish that comes through as a bit sour. Unique and delicious!
