Smells like apple juice. On the palette very similar, super sweet for a SB. Only with a bit of time on the palette & increasingly through the finish, the acidity really comes through & provides balance. Medium long finish. Like it when it hits its peak & balances out, but a little too much is all sweet for the price. — 7 years ago

Powerful fruit-forward wine, really improves decanted. It's a fruit bomb, but I love everything about it - really coats the mouth, nice finish. It's more on the explosive flavor side than the subtle/complex side, so choose according to your tastes! — 7 years ago
Love everything about this wine except the texture/mouth feel, which is a bit watery. Nise is a great blend of pepper & dark fruit, the pallete really kicks (but without that mouth coating feel), and thw tannins come in on the finish. Loved it for under $20! — 7 years ago
One of the best whites I've had in years. The nose is powerful: vegetal, sweet & acidic. Mostly sweet apple on the palate, with growing grassy notes. The finish is phenomenal - great mouth coating, evolves & becomes less sweet, more sour apple with time. Really lingers - live it! — 7 years ago
Nice and fruity on the nose, very distinctively tempranillo. This wine really needs decanting - a lot of air - it took 2 hours+ to come into form. It has a pretty watery mouth feel on the palate, which is downside, and it doesn't pack much punch in the mid-palate. The flavor is subtle & wonderful on the other end though, really satisfying finish with some spice. — 7 years ago
I love cab franc, so a rose - and one with incredibly light color, bordering on a white - made for a novelty purchase. I love this wine, though! Really has that off-sweet, earthy flavor of a cab franc, but the freshness of a white. Oddly has a tannic mouth feel on the finish that comes through as a bit sour. Unique and delicious! — 7 years ago

Shy on the nose even after 1 hour+ decanting, just a little peppery & sour whiff. Surprisingly light & watery for a zin - but not for any other red! On the palate a little hollow, but with lots of time you get some nice sweetness rolling around. The real treat from this wine comes on the finish: sweetness gives way to mouth coating fruity kick, but a nice sour balance. Finish for days - you'd have to scrub it out with a toothbrush! — 7 years ago
