2009 vintage. Big dense wine. Dark chocolate, blackberries. Tannins and oak. Nice with a grilled steak. Maybe better in a year or two.

We had both '06 vintage bottles. One was fabulous with an intense fruit and smokey flavor. The other was weaker. More stringent fruit with weak flavor. The better '06 bottle would rate a 9.3 I my book. Tie other bottle 8.7.
