Color of light burgundy with translucent ruby color at the bottom of the glass. Nose of pleasant wet fresh mushrooms, black peppers, and some berries note. Taste of bright acidity, cherry jam, zesty grapefruit, a bit graphite, and salty soy sauce. Aftertaste of some peppery note, some chocolate, smooth and round, a bit zesty and sweet, strawberries, and a bit hotness from alcohol. Personally, I feel this wine is better than critics.

Takes a couple of hours to open up. Darkest and most opaque Pinot I've ever seen- looks like a Syrah. Lots of Jammy red fruits and cherries on the nose. Palette sees same, but also the expected Pinot acidity and minerality. The finish is medium and the acid softer and more rounded than you'd expect from Willamette.

Served at Thanksgiving. Nice compliment to all the fixings. Tartness cut though. Bing cherry worked with Cranberry sauce.

A different kind of monster. Dark and fruity, inky color. Tasty!

Belated notes on New Year’s Eve! Allison Oli wedding celebration dinner 10-7-24 Water Witch Club, “Uncle Jimmy” wine tasting table within vertical of Riesling and world tour of Pinot Noir. Second stop, modern yet balanced style with nice matured red fruits and silky palate with nice finish. Many liked it, as per Oregon Pinot popularity.

Has the earthiness and mushrooms. Hints of vanilla and a nice cherry fruit compliment. Hope the football gets better. This first game sucks. Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe!!
