Carbonic Grenache from the Northern Rhône. Talk about an internal personality conflict. But it’s a very nice wine to slug down with dinner. Hard cherry and kirsch fruit over some nice granitic minerals. Reminiscent of a nice Bojo. Lively in the mouth, and there, too, displaying a Bojo like character, but with a bit more peppery heat showing through in the back half of the palate.

Jul 28th, 2020I was expecting this to be weird (blend of Grenache and “white varieties” whatever that means) but it was clean, fruity, and had more tannins than I expected. (Still on the low end but they were there.)

Aug 11th, 2019This is a good example of why you should occasionally revisit things. I had this wine about 5 years ago and was underwhelmed. Found it much more interesting this time around.
