Wow. This is some crazy shit. Nothing like I've ever tasted before. From sweatsock to nutty to sherry in 3.5 seconds.

Had at Vallozzi's Greensburg Chocolate Pairings that say "WOW" event. Paired with Complexite 70% Dark Chocolate. This sake has a rich, pungent and complex aroma of savory nuts, dried fruit and spices.

Funky, savory, sweet, harmonious. A very madeira like sake but a creature unto its own.

The first guys to re-introduce Kijoshu back in '73 and they know their stuff.

Forget about Madeira - drink this instead

Kijoshu koshu (aged 8 years)
Definitely an acquired taste.
Heavy Lea & Perrins and soy on the nose with candies bacon.
Palate is heavily oxidized flavors, coffe, compost, caramalized nuts. Really intense cheesy sweet and sour
